PAPER CRAFTS
In addition to fiber crafts, our store has tons of materials and resources for other crafts. Come in and use our studio space, craft supplies and materials to work on your cardmaking, stamping, scrapbooking, beading and other paper crafts. We have several tables available during regular business hours to work on your crafts. For $15 per day, you can make greeting cards, personalized stationery, wrapping paper, update or start your scrapbook, stamp or paint on fabric, do your beading, etc.
CRAFT KITS
We carry several lines of craft kits for both kids and adults. For kids, we have kits from Creativity for Kids, Chicken Socks, Noodlehead Fun, and Klutz. These kits are great for your kids and also make excellent gifts for birthdays and other holidays. We also carry kits for all ages such as Aitoh Origami and Kirigami, Lineco bookbinding kits, Chronicle Books' craft kits (cardmaking, paper marbling, calligraphy, and other paper related craft kits), Hero Arts and Inkadinkado stamping kits, and more. We also carry blank cardstock from Waste Not Paper. This line of paper products is great for all kinds of paper crafts and for making your own stationery and invitations. In addition to our craft kits, we have a large selection of how-to books on numerous crafts.
BEADING
Yarn Paper Scissors has a great selection of designer beading kits for the avid beader! We also carry a line of beaded knit kits that include bracelets, necklaces and key fobs. Several of our children craft kits lines also include beading kits for the beginning beader. Come work on your beading project in our studio space -- we have a large assortment of beading tools available for your use. Want to learn to bead or move to the next level in beading? Take a class with Michelle Flynn, our beading instructor. We offer classes on basic beading, pearl knotting, wire wrapping and more. Come to the store and see samples from the classes for further inspiration!
NEEDLE ARTS
Learn to needlepoint, cross-stitch or embroider. Most needle arts are easy to learn and we have a lot of books and classes to get you going. Come see our modern needlepoint kits from AMD Designs, recently featured in Jane Magazine and the Daily Candy. These kits are great for the beginning needlepointer. For those who embroider or want to learn, we offer classes, blank linens for sale, how-to books, Valdani embroidery thread, Sublime Stitching kits and transfer patterns, and Wool and Hoop crewel patterns.
CLASSES
In addition to our knitting and crochet classes, we offer classes on various paper crafts, beading, sewing, quilting, embroidery and other needle arts. Classes are a great way to meet other crafters, learn new techniques and skills or to just relax. We have something for everyone.
